São Tiago das Cinco Pontas Fort

São Tiago das Cinco Pontas Fort is next to the neighborhood of São José,and its function was to save water to the soldiers from Portugal and stop the traffic of sugar.The original Fort was destroied in 1677 but its was built again but with four edges but its name Cinco pontas(five edges)continues because it has a star format.This is a good point to visit because show culture a lot,and ever have events to see,and much cool places to take photos,and is one of more important postcard of Recife.
